Sub is sagging!

Well my Kicker CVR 15 was making a strange noise near full excursion so I took it out of the box to check it out. The sub has been upfiring for a year or so, and I can tell by looking at the spider it is starting to sag! The coil also seems to rub when I push the cone down near bottomed out.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif. Is it already gone or can I buy it some time by inverting it?

done, how much power did you have on it, what kind of box, and what were your gains set at?

I figured. It was in 4.5 @ 33 with 73in^2 port. Gains were set to 700 rms. It seemed to take the power like a champ, never got stinky, never bottomed out, SSF set at around 28hz.

still to much port dude, its 1 15"

If its near bottomed out when its making the sound, thats normal. if it doesnt do it when you lightly push it down, its still got a little life left.

i use 2 think kicker was the s h i t, but on here they are way at the bottom the list of subs to get. caraudio you saved me 400 on 2 kickers
