not sure if thats the correct term but ive got an odd placement for a sub and i want to know how it would sound best.
the front row of a chevy avalanche has 3 seats but the middle folds down to make an arm rest center console. so my plan is to remove the whole middle seat and build a fiberglass box to hold the sub, amp, cupholders, and 2 8 inch screens with a dvd player in between. so the sub is going to be the item closest to the dash.
so i have a couple options for which way to fire the sub.
1. fire sub towards the front at knee level.
2. fire it slanted upwards towards deck/windshield.
3. fire it slanted upwards towards a point above the front seat headrests.
4. inverse mount it and fire it straight down between the seats.
which would provide the best sound? hopefully some sq guys can chime in and help me out.
thanks.
