sub idea

i have two 6by9s in the rear deck of my stratus. if i mount a 6.5 inch kicker sub inbetween them will the bass from the sub mess with the sound from my two speakers? i don't want big subs and a box. i just want a little more bass to fill out the sound

I don't think you should free mount it. If it's a true sub it'll need a box. You could maybe make a small box and mount it under the rear deck firing into the cabin area if your creative.

get a baffle board and free air a shiva..it will play lower than either a sealed box or a ported box..little less output but sound a lot better and no box
