Sub for under 160 shipped?

My buddy is looking for a sub under 160 shipped. He wants at least a 12, if not a 15. I recomended a SDC2.5 but i wanted to know other opinions as well. Thanks!!

The SDC2.5 would be a good choice, I was going to suggest an IA LI too. Should be able to find a used one for around the price range you stated.

Also, a Mach 5 Audio IXL 15 might be in that price range used.

Exactly, plus, i personally dont like JL a whole bunch, way better out there for the price.

but i hit 133.9 dbz with 1 12" type r in a sealed box 1.25 cubes

on certified Term Lab...... so ported would b beastly...

Yea, im looking for something a lil more than a type r. They are great subs. I recommend them to my friends a lot. But i think im gonna go with a Lethal Injection. What do you guys think of this sub?

or u can dbl up on bass and get 2 kicker cvrs for 1oo and some change. any amp will do. these subs can take a BEATIN without dying.

A lot of good reviews about the LI.

Their 20.1 / 40.1's are raved about constantly, so I'm sure that they make good products.
