Sub Fluttering

Hello, I just purchased a 600w rms amp at 4 ohms to power my alpine type r 10" that handles 500W RMS at 4 ohms. When i adjust the gain, soon as I begin to get some thump out of my speakers they flutter unendingly.

What's the enclosure like?

do they kind of pulse at a very low frequency? Ground your amp better, I had the same problem

it can be a ground problem w/the amp or ground problem w/ the head unit.

check for air leaks

check the enclosure and the sub's surround
