sub died?

I was playing my music and everything was fine then my sub cut out. It was at night so I couldn't check everything I wanted to but I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions. I'm running 2 amps, 1 for the sub and 1 for my components. The components are working perfectly fine. At first I thought it was just a loose remote turn-on wire... not it. I checked the fuse for the power cable, it was fine... not it. I still have to check the fuses for my car's electrical system. The sub wiring was fine. I still have to check the fuse on the amp but if the amp is on, that would rule it out wouldnt it? I did notice that the sub/amp was drawing power because my lights/instrument cluster would dim very slightly. Is there anything else I need to check?

Check the wiring on the sub (at amp and at sub and in box). Maybe one of your wires just came loose. Also might want to check the tinsel leads on the sub and see if they aren't broken.
