Sub Destruction - Need Professional Opinions

If the person who reconed it was the one who attached the basket to the motor then they obviously botched the job and should come good for a new recone...

If the sub was sent to them with the basket already attached, then IMO it's not their fault unless they actually noticed they were the wrong screws and just didn't do anything about it..

If it was a recone I'm not sure if or why the basket would have to be removed.
I usually take them off when I recone, it makes it easier to clean up a basket with water soluable paint stripper and not have the motor attached when you're washing it. BTW im one of those clean freaks who has to have every bit of old ca glue off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

*Edited* Got ahead of myself, waiting for a PM to confirm it.

Story got a little more interesting when I did a little searching last night. We'll give him a couple days to respond to Woodel's PM.

Perhaps there is a third party responsible, we'll see.

let me correct lingerfelt the pics i got were of it in the process of being reconed it was a basket and motor together but i know the person i got it from bought it from another person on here.heres my honast opinion on the whole situation if i had sold someone a sub i just had reconed and it ****ed up i would take care of the buyer and go after the person who reconed it myself.i know its not the salers fault but u have to back up the product u r selling and its not my fault neither.just a shitty situation

what motor is this from?

I think names should still be posted. If someone puts out this kind of shoddy work, the rest of the forum should know so we don't have this same problem with someone else a month from now.
