Sub decisions

Thinking of getting one of these subs: IDMAX 12CRD4 X2, Fosgate T212d4, JL 13w7, or RE xxx 12 inch. Im running Rainbow slc 230 ng surrounds powered by a jl 300/4. I will be using a jl 1000/1 for the sub(s). All in a 98 BMW 740il. I like boom, but it has to have desent SQ also. Which would be my better choice.

i would go with RE...but i dont know anything about the IDMAX

I think he would be good with 1 Mag v4, it can take 700rms daily, save yourself some room in that trunk too pluss the boom your looking for.

Out of those u had their i'd go with the IDMAX, great SQ and actually has sum nice output also. The T2 + XXX(05 or 06 versions) wouldn't be brought anywhere near potential with that power.

 

Look into an RE SX, SI Mag, or even a JBL GTI.
