sub choice

[Eagle Flight]

Looking for a little input as to which sub set up would be preferable for sq.. i.e what would most people go for given these 2 choices

2 Phoenix Gold OCTANE-R 10D 400W

or

1 Alpine SWR-1221D 12" Type-R Series Subwoofer (2ohm + 2ohm)

both subs would be in a sealed enclosure, powered by a Phoenix Gold OCTANE-R8.0:1 800W Amplifier...

Mainly listen to rock ( tragically hip/ pearl jam, etc..) and some top 40 pop...

i know the type rs getting pretty loud for the price, but the PGs have more cone area... im sure someones heard the PGs and will comment but I personally havent heard those particular subs, but u would think the cone area would be better plus there isnt that much of a power difference. for around that price/power might want to look into the kicker cvrs also.
