So I've noticed on different caraudio forums that moderators and such spread different products. My question is, is FI as good as people on here say it is? I'm asking this because I have no way to hear it for myself or to ask people in person because none of the local shops have heard nor carry them. This sub just seems too good to be true and i just have to ask. Thanks

More sq than spl. I say "it is too good to be true," because on youtube and such it sounds just as good if not better than what im looking to get right now which is an MTX 9500 12". I would like some opinions because it could definetly save me some money. thanks

I own a 15 inch FI Q 3 cubes tuned to 30hz, and I must tell you it is PLENTY loud for me, However it sounds GREAT. I actually might end up making a new box and sealing it at 3, because I know it would still get plenty loud with the 1100 im giving it. for $200, pretty tough to beat that unless you REALLY look around. I had a 15 inch L7 in 5 cubes tuned to like 35hz and it was super loud but sounded like ***, and before my Q I had a MB quart 15 inch sealed 1.5 cubes and that was extremely nice on SQ, was a bit too quiet for me though.

So in terms of SQ, the BL is much better, but the MTX may or may not get louder depending on enclosure. What size and tune enclosure would sound good with a 12" BL? I have a Bonneville so trunk size shouldn't be a problem.
