I have 200$, 2.3 cuft, 800rms...Need a single 15

I have about 2.3 cuft to work with, my amp will do 800rms bridged at 4ohm, and i have 200 bucks. i want to go with a single 15. i have been looking at DD audio, DC sound labs, Fi, soundstream, and mb quarts. i am not real familiar with DD, DC, or Fi. any suggestions.

with 2.3ft^3, I assume you're going sealed...might as well look at good sealed subs.

yeah, i am going to have to go sealed. i was looking at the DC sound level 3 15, but didn't know if running it on 800rms was a good idea.

Not sure if anyone is running a DC sealed, so you might want to research that first. FI Q does well sealed...

alpine 1522/1524 will rock in a 2.3cf box ported tune it to 30hz with a 28-30in 2.5x10in port and you'll be in heaven

does well in sealed 2.3cf also but you can get alot more low end tuning it to 30hz

and its $200 shipped the alpine

i'd look at the fi Q or SSD, or my personal favorite would be a mach 5 IXL 15, will do great in small sealed box, dual 2 coils and will take 1000w so never have to worry about overpowering it

i like the Fi Q. i spoke with Rusty from DC and he said the level 3 15 would take the 800rms daily with no problems. that would be in 2.0 sealed.

i did some remeasuring last night to see if i could get some more cubic feet. looks like i could go up to 3cuft. Fi SSA 15 will work in that space i believe. if i go ported, round or slot? still considering the Q in a sealed. anyone run a Q15 sealed?

no room for a ported 15, not even for a ported 12.
