Sub Choice Help Quick! DD, Alpine, RE, etc

Well i can get two 10" DD 3510's for $725 from a local dealer and he is a dd dealer and db drive and stuff but he says that he's done so many combinations imaginable and he says that this will be very very loud in a 3.5-4.0 cu. ft ported box in my 03 reg cab f-150. I dont know if i can get anything that quality and that loud for more or not. He said that he can get 10's louder than 12's in there b/c of the airspace and stuff (of course). I was seeing if anyone had any other suggestions to subs in this price range that will hit as hard. I think these dd's will outpound many other companies 10's that are of equal or lesser value so im just making sure im getting my monnies worth ya know. Need opinions/ answers quick b/c im buying them today probably. Thanks

that just seems like a lot of money for a pair of 10's imo. does this have to be purchased at a local dealer or can you buy online? does it have to be 10's? what amp do you have for power? do you want high spl, sq, or both? if you can fit 4 cubes you can fit some decent 12's.

dd audio is the shit!!... dude two 10's are going to slam in your truck... i'm sure he's going ported with the box... believe me dude.. i just did a 9512 in my friends car.. and it hits harder than my friends 2 jl w3 15".... DIGITAL DESIGNS are great woofers...
