Sub choice for SQL?????.........

Which sub would get the loudest, but still have good sound quality? The two 12's will be going in an f150 standard cab, so space is limited. About .9 cu. ft. before displacement per sub. The subs will powered accordingly, but the max is about 700 watts/sub.

Considering ........

SS RL-p 12

SI Mag d2

OZ me12(not sure about the limited air space though)

IDQ 12

.9 Id go with the RL-p

Mag would do OK, but IMO not as good as the RL-p

IDQ would have less output

DA would be OK

Never tried out the OZ

what about PG rsd12? They have a very shallow depth and high power rating. Also,(hate to do this) what about a type r?

The majority of people that have tried report less-than-impressive performance out of the Type Rs when sealed.

Ive looked at the IDMax, but its to deep. Has anyone tried the Pg's? The seem decent but ive heard little about them.

i'll admit, they get a bit sloppy around my tuning freq., but i heard they're real nice sealed.

Rl-p will have very limited output in .9, especially if its the D2 model which is overmotored for a sealed box that small. my vote is for the D6.

Sorry, didn't see the .9cf, i wouldn't do a type-x in that either, they're not good up top, so a small box would prob. be bad.

Ya, options are so limited with so little airspace. You really think the rlp wont sound good in it? I like the D6 for the fact it can handle 600 watts, small displacement, and very shallow. It looks good too. I also like the PG rsd12

D6's sound great at anything above .7 sealed.

Pretty sure the W6 is an option, as well.
