So since it was a nice day out i wanted to make a video of my sub..
Long story short i hear a horrible click noise on the hit of the song. I have a video for you to see, i dont think im overpowering it but i guess i am?
Phoenix Gold RSDC 600w rms 1200w max
if you listen carefully you can hear a click every once and a while.
So, i turned the volume down a notch and it still clicks on the hit.
Tested for spider tear by pushing on the sub and it is ok on that.
gain on amp is 20% SUBSONIC filter ~ 30
amp set at 40v @1 ohm ~ 1600w rms but clamp meter shows its getting 780w rms.
So lets hear it.. what could be causing this.
I just recently installed a PRE AMP line driver that dramatically changed the bass. Sounds stronger now.
I really want to fix this, i have to turn the volume down from 22 (listening level) to 19 before it stops clicking on the bass hit. ( and its only 1 specific bass note on that song)
edit: could reversed RCA's do it?
