sub away from ur back or towards your back

i'm upfiring my next box, and *maybe* porting forward through ski hole, if i port it.
trial and error FTW

yea DEF dont that......i thought logically that pointing the ports thru the ski hole would work, but it doesnt.....TRUST ME

now i have my subs upfiring and ports to the side of my car.....

i had them firing to the side and ports firing into the ski holes and it was terrible.......output was decreased greatly.......

i've had it faced to the rear it sounds decent, i have a friend that helped me install it all that said the trunk acts as another box...and to face it towards the rear...i never tryed the other way not sure why guess i was satisfied...but i do drive around with the seat down to give it some cooler than air? is that the smart thing to do?

i'll give it a try when i get back in town...thanks guys...check out my other thread in speakers...theres a real problem that takes a backseat to this one...cause its not a problem really eh...haha
