Got the wire for the door speakers so ran that and slapped the door panels back on so I can finally roll down my windows again 😂. Once the speakers come I’ll put those in and that part is done.

Got the second battery and super cap bank holders done today. Holes are drilled on the sides for an L rod to attach to a top plate to secure them in place.

I finished the bottom flip out holder (well almost) which houses the voltage gauge and the 9 band EQ. Once I get the amps the empty part on the right of the voltage gauge I’ll put the taramps M1 indicator. This thing I had to heavily modify as well as the area it fits into to. Got it all to work perfectly tho 😈. Monday all the cdt audio speakers will arrive and I’ll get those installed. After that this build won’t progress till the end of may or first week of June. It should be totally complete by the second week of June!

Got the cdt’s and started putting them in. 2 pairs of the HD-M6cv midbass drivers which have been improved greatly from the original versions. These have better cones, push terminals connections, phase plugs, and a little more xmax. These do excellent IB but only in midbass frequencies. In order for them to dig deep an enclosure must be used. Each door has an ES-02A in the pillars. I managed to stuff a pair as well which are in pods. A rubber ring will go around the seam of the 02’s in the pillars even tho I did do a clean bead of black CA. I ordered the alternator so waiting for that to show up. Now this will sit for a couple of weeks and I will order the rest of the stuff to finish it. Right on schedule to finish this by the second week of June!

New alternator will be here Monday the 16th so I upgraded the grounds so it’s less I have to do. Factory ground from battery to chassis has been upgraded to 1/0 ga OFC and chassis to engine has been upgraded to 1/0 OFC. Took the grounding points to bare metal attached them and sprayed over them with black paint. Once the alternator gets here charging wire off the alt will also be 1/0 ga ofc to battery and top mounting bolt on alt will get a 1/0 ga ofc wire to battery ground so the case is grounded.

Got the brackets ready to secure the enclosure. These 4 will be bolted behind the box to the chassis and into the back of the enclosure. It will get about 4 lags at an angle from the inside bottom to secure the front of the enclosure. These brackets pictured are super solid! 1/4” thick steel and don’t bend for nothing!

Alternator showed up today! It will be installed sometime this week. 170 amps at 650 rpm and 331 amps at 1800 rpm. Way better than the stock alternator doing 95 amps at redline 😂. Pretty soon this build will be finished! Part of the first week of June and second week I’ll be all over it to get it done!

Yeah I bought mine right before they upgraded from the 8 gauge lug to that fancy 1/0 lug ground. :cautious:

you talking about the threaded posts or? If so you can use any size lug you want just the hole diameter needs to match. I buy all my 1/0 ga lugs with a 1/4” hole and drill them out to size as needed. Got tired of having to grab 5/16”, 3/8” etc. Lose the bulk discount trying to buy 3+ different sizes compared to a bunch the same size 😂.

No the ground. They used to just have an 8 gauge ring terminal. They upgraded to the 1/0 nut and bolt like yours has.

they had a permanently attached 8 ga ring terminal?!? That is the dumbest setup I ever heard of lol. If I got that setup on this one I would of been pissed lol. You have a pic of it by chance?
