nothing free. You need a properly calibrated mic. Why would you think a tiny 1 millimeter phone mic would read anything over 90db accurately? Its not the app that does the job, its the fking mic.

yeah i knew it needed a mic. i tried free one on my phone without mic did almost nothing..

All the free ones I try don't go over 80 db

yeah mine went to like 86.. just saw some mic/meters on amazon but only go up to 140db..

If something costs $400... you're NOT likely to find a free app to replace it... LOL!

again its not the app. the mic is what makes things cost a lot. Nothing free will be worth any data or download time. If you see some app that costs like 20 dollars and promises to get you to 150 db, its complete garbage. There's a reason why calibrated mics cost a lot.
