I don't generally expect much from "shallow mount" designs but most should be serviceable within their limitations. The 500/1 is tried and true though. Apart from MSRP there's not anything bad you can say about how they perform.

I really would love to try the JL slim lines in my truck but I can’t justify the cost with the state of inflation currently.

Friend of mine used them for midbass with 4 15 juggernauts it was a different level
