Well, I'm looking for something that produces great sound quality...SPL doesnt really matter. Will be run in an extended cab Chevy. Custom center console stretching from the dash all the way to the back seat. Power suggestions can come later. Remember, sealed box.

Haven't heard the Alumapro's. Out of the ID and the Adire, I'd pick Shiva. Never ceases to impress me, every time I listen to it.

They can be had for a nice 165 Canadian right now too Steve

Hmmmmmmmm. This a tough one. I've never heard the Alumapro, so I can't comment on that one. And while I love the Shiva, I just heard two 12" ID V.3's this weekend (http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/IDSID12V3D4) powered by a SoundStream Rubicon 500, and I absolutely loved it. I haven't heard a Shiva in about 3 months, so I cant compare them side to side, but I fell in love with the ID's almost instantly.

I absolutely adore the sound quality of the Alchemy..its just a little lean on the output side for me.. I would say for SQ, go for the Alumapro..

I still cant eliminate any sub yet. But, I think I am leaning more towards the Alchemy/Shiva right now.

Mark, $165CAD for a Shiva sounds more than great. *Looks for a price on the Alchemy's*

I'm happy with my Shiva, especially considering it's in a small box with lowish power. Still sounds great. I haven't heard the Alchemy though.

2 Adire Audio Shiva's - 1.5ft^3 each, seperate sealed chambers, 24oz of Polyfill per sub.

1 ARC Audio 2100 - Powering a 6.5" component set up front in kick panels (Most likely Boston Acoustic Pro's)

1 ARC Audio 1500D - Powering the subs. 2 ohm load. Gains kept minimal.

Head Unit - TBD

EQ - TBD

This is just a basic plan for now...things can change, but I doubt they will(very much).

i read a review on soundilluisonz and the guy had nothing but good things to say about the alchemy......
