i put pinhole sized sut in the seal of a speaker while installing it should i put a dap of like contact cement on it or should i just leave it

some people have had luck with a light coating of silicon...

Yup use silicon. The same stuff that supposedly "eats away fumes"

Basically put a really thin bit on the top (though you shouldnt be able to see through it)

And if you can, try to reach underneath and put it on the underside of the surround as well

Yes it will look like *** but that's what you get for cutting your surround
