MB Quart PCE 216 vs JL Audio XR 650 CSI

g'day, just been looking into these speakers and i believe they are similaryly priced. i got a quote of 850 odd for the mb's but havent been able to get a price on the jl's, only prices on the vr and zr series which are the series below and above so i assumed theyre roughly an equal quality component?

out of the two then which would be best?

and can anyone tell me the rms power rating for the mb quarts? on their site is only says power rating which i assume is rms as 60-130 seems low for max power, yet high for rms power.

any info on either of these speakers would be greatly appreciated.

Those speakers are very similar as they are (or were) made in the same German factory. I personally like the sound and versitility of the MBQ's more than the JL's.

RMS on the MBQ is 110 watts I believe. They will take all the power you can throw at them....it had 425w per side on them for a while and they seemed to be fine....may be overkill, yes but headroom (lots in this case) is a good thing.
