Speaker placement: Door panel vs kick panel

I have a 2003 Civic. I'm finding that my doors aren't really accommodating for component sets.

Does installing via the kickpanel fix this issue of mine? And do I get better SQ if I use the kick panel instead of the doors?

If your kick panel is properly made and acts like an enclosure yes, but if not no. I bought the q logic kick panels deadened them up the a$$ and my xs65 component set $600 worth that everyone say hve really good midbass had NO midbass. Why? Because the kick panels were crappy and flimsy and the mids were practicaly free air. Deaden your door panel properly and itll make a world of a difference. Look at keephopealives accord build log hes a genious at this stuff
