Speaker Install Help

I've just bought a set of Eclipse SC8365, they are a 6.5" 3 way component split. The two tweeters come in their own special mounting block or can be separated. What I would like to know is the best place to mount the tweeters. They are going into a 1990 Nissan 300ZX. The best mounting place I can see is in the center of the door trim just above the arm rest, basically they will aim across the cabin just in front of the persons lower chest.

I have also heard it is quite acceptable to mount the tweeters right beside the woofer. Which option would you recommend?

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
