Thank you if you have pics or something that would be awesome.I actually did between my brx and aq, all test were within 1 db. Majority of my test were done on music since I don't drive around listening to tones or burping. Even on tones it was still within one db. I still love SQ and my whole setup is SQ but I'm not going to be in denial and keep say there this huge difference between the two when I know there isn't. And my voltage didn't drop with either amp.
Its a conversation on the fact that there is not much difference in between them but people HATE on hifonics and glorify soundqubed.Just so I have it straight in my mind.....this is an argument about who's is the LEAST lower end amp?
Hey 2000watts for $250 New? Over rated or not thats a heck of a deal if you ask me.Hhifonics has one good amp and its still freaking overrated.
I wish that I would have took pics, if I would have known an argument like this was going happen I definitely would have. I did this comparison before this thread started for my own curiosity. I got the AQ on Cyber Monday. When I didnt notice much increase in SPL I decided to compare the two on the meter to see I my ears were playing tricks on me, which the meter confirmed they weren't. I'm not too mad about it, I paid $343 for the AQ BNIB and sold the BRX to a friend for $100. Other than saying my subs and amp "are the same brand" and the AQ "looks better" than the BRX theres really isn't much advantage IMO.Thank you if you have pics or something that would be awesome.
So all in all if your competing FINE spend the extra $200 for 1Decibel but for a daily system like MOST of us have the return for the money isnt worth it and idc what you say ITS NOT. But if it make your johnson feel bigger saying you have "SOUNDQUBED" hey to each their own.
Cea doesnt really mean anything its just a stamp companies pay for to make their amps look better.Go for the new Soundstream TA. I love mine and best bang for the buck. Although it doesn't have that CEA compliant i'm sure it's close enough so either Hifonics or Soundstream. You'll be happy!!! Save your money!
That's what the BC2000s use to go for when they first came out.Hey 2000watts for $250 New? Over rated or not thats a heck of a deal if you ask me.
One simply does not expect rated out of a hifonics. Just decent budget power. Everyone and their grandmas know if you buy a 2600 watt hifonics, it'll barely etch out 2k a true 1 ohm impedance on average electrical, after rise an everything it'll just barely have enough to properly push a pair of SA 12s hard. Still, If you can get soundqubed for around 300 used, you can get hifonics used for dirt cheap and prices are competitive and lowball-able since there are so many on craigslist. You deal with lies all the time in car audio, but when you know what you are doing and getting yourself into and you also DGAF about principles of "oh they are lying to you off the bat" and rather just focus soley on cost to performance ratio, its not so bad of an option to go.Hhifonics has one good amp and its still freaking overrated.
yea, I got my AQ's cheap enough to be proud of them......... if I ever get around to installing them lol.one simply does not expect rated out of a hifonics. Just decent budget power.
