You can buy some 3M clear security window film from your local residential/commercial tint dealer. It is thick and strong and will keep the glass from shattering to stay intact with the common smash. I definately agree with you. I am a Security Alarm Technician and have worked with ADT. Now I am self employed: Alarm Detection Protection.

 

I would recommend putting everything on instant and only the most commonly used door(s) on delay. Install a outside siren (with siren driver in panel) along with a inside siren. im gonna invest in a gatling gun or a mini gun....ill put it on a tripod at various places in my house and if a ****er even thinks about entering my house i have many different vantage points to rip him to peices with. a few gernades or a rocket launcher would serve well also...

i was even thinkin of potentially gettin an automatic shotgun....then i wont need to have good aim....just point and pulll the trigger

lol if that had happened to me, i wouldnt have a dad to wake up cause hes at work during the night. so it wouldve been me getting stabbed......no.........the guy wouldve pulled out a flame thrower and stuck it to my face and let it go.

then found a porccupine and ***** me with it.....
