If EVERY American owned a firearm, then if someone broke into your house, he should have his own gun and you would be in large line of crossfire; making it even more dangerous for your family. Yeah so like about an hour and a half ago I heard some glass smash so I go wake my parents up and my mom calls the cops and my dad gets the baseball bat out and we go downstairs. Theres this guy standing in my kitchen going through shit he sees us coming runs after my dad with a knife and my dad belts him in the face with the bat he goes out cold then like a few mins later the cops show up and take care of everything. This had to be the scaryist/most exciting night every thankfully the only one that got hurt was the fuck head that tried to rob us! I think its time to invest in an alarm now!

MMMM why not? I sure know I would have. Especially if he would have ran up to me I would not even think about pulling a trigger on some one I don't know that is in my house, late at night, and runs up at me.

You can doubt all you want, There is a reason I own a pistol grip 12 guage, and a .40 S&W berreta. Someone comes in my home in the dead of night through a broken window to rob and or hurt me or my family, He's leavin' in a body bag. And just so you don't think I'm talkin' out my ***, I spent 6 years in the Marines and if I learned anything it was don't bring a knife to a gunfight, and if you are going to fight, fight to win with whatever is at your disposal, because thats what that motherfuker is gonna do. A gun or bat, the end result would have been the same, or at least close. Your dad is definitely a guy to look up. A gun isn't necessary, but I doubt they guy would have charged if your dad was point a .38 at him.
