Ebay SCAMMER ALERT -- Do not sell your amp to Andy Weiser aka andy4879 or James Lincoln aka justonemoreamp on
Ebay
Ebay user Golfclubsrus2008-2008 is Andy 'Drew" Weiser from
Ebay. He has since changed his
Ebay buying name to stay under the
Ebay radar.
His selling name is Andy4879 and he has been doing this SCAM for years and years.
He creates a different buying user names every 2-3 months and buys amps then disputes 8 out of 10 of the amps with PayPal and the seller and claims they were either DOA or needed work. Regardless if they work perfect. After the coast is clear he lists the amp on his selling name "Andy4879" and sells it for 3x times as much as he paid for it.
Here is a example. He buys a amp for 200.00 -- then claims it needs repair and scams the seller for say 100.00 -125.00. Now he only has roughly 100.00 into a amp that in truth works perfect and NEVER needed any type of repair. Then he lists that same amp on his seller account which is Andy4879 for ridiculous price of 399.00 or best offer. Sells it for around 350.00 to and makes around a 250.00 profit when all is said and done.
Here is the "KICKER" !!! If you deny his PayPal claim and tell him to send your amp back he either destroys your amp and sends it back or send you back a COMPLETELY different amp...
Lets say you send him a U.S. Amps $500.00 amp. You will probably get back a broken Jensen amp that weighs around the same as your U.S. amps.
Andy Weiser is the most treacherous person anyone honest person can run across
Ebay.
The funniest part is that he tries to play tough guy over emails and a bully but he is really a 5'3 285lbs midget.
This folks is 100% the truth. Go on google.com and put in Andy4879 or justonemoreamp scammer and see what comes up.
Also look out for JOMA AKA JUSTONEMOREAMP -- this is andy4879 's partner in crime and does the EXACT same thing.
Wow. Looks like I am not the only one who has had a run in with this guy. I have an experience to tell you about with this Andy and also about the infamous JOMA (justonemoreamp).
I purchased a US Amps USA-2000 a few years ago on
ebay. I used it for a short period of time, maybe like a week and then decided to go another route with my system so I relisted it on
ebay to get my money back. I think I paid $500 or so for it. At the time I relisted it, I saw the amps were going for around $700 so that is what I listed it for. I just wanted to at least break even after all the
ebay and paypal fees and shipping. All of the sudden I start getting harassing emails from this username "penempmac" telling me that my amp will never sell and he knows I just purchased it a week or two earlier for $500. I tried to ignore him and told him to leave me alone. Then he starts telling me I need to leave the reselling to the big boys and I don't know what I am doing. I sold the amp and moved on. Come to find out a few months later, I found out this guy harassing me was actually andy4879. I guess he was bitter that I caught the amp and purchased it at $500 and stole a profit from him. I was so surprised that this guy was so mad about this he felt the need to email me and harass me about it. Then I started to hear the horror stories of him abusing the system by breaking peoples items and also trying to get partial refunds from most of his sellers to increase his reseller profit margin. This guy needs to go away.
I also had a run in with Andy's buddy JOMA, otherwise known as Jim Lincoln. They both pull the same tricks. I am not sure who started them but they both work in the same fashion. I listed a amp on
ebay for $110 shipped. The amp worked perfectly as I ran it on my bench for a good 3-4 hours before sending it off. I did this specifically because I had heard the rumors of his tricks. A few days after I shipped the amp, I got an email from JOMA stating this "this amp doesn't power on and you **** well knew it. I want a $85 refund so I can get this repaired." Mind you, I sold the amp for $110 shipped. WOW!!! This guy was talking to me like I tried to rip him off or something. Very rude. So I told him to send the amp back and I would refund his money. I also told him I would pay the return shipping so he wouldn't be out any money. I just didn't want a negative feedback. Then he doesn't respond to me and files a claim. He acted like I didn't try to go above and beyond to resolve the issue. He ended up sending the amp back to me at his cost.
When I received the amp back, both endplates had been beat in and the speaker terminal wasn't removed from the amp. He beat the hell out of it because I didn't give in and give him a refund and let him keep the amp. HERE IS THE KICKER. The amp worked fine even after he beat on it and sent it back to me. I bent the sideplates back into place, touched it up and resold the amp on
ebay to someone else. The amp worked perfectly. He was trying to scam me.
This is what these guys do. I reported both of them to Paypal and
Ebay numerous times. When I run into people they do this to I tell them how to reported these theives as well. I feel it's only a matter of time before these guys are in prison for mail fraud amongst other charges. From what I have heard, this won't be JOMAs first time in prison either.
