So a couple weeks ago my puppy ran away. Well, she always plays in my yard, and sometimes wonders off maybe 1 house or 2 down, but she ALWAYS comes back. Well I let her play in the yard while I played COD4 with the door open, when I finished I went out to find her and she was gone. I went to all the local spca centers and gave them her info, and posted up fliers and made a craigslist ad. I had to leave to georgia for a couple weeks right after.
Well today I check my cell phone messages while I am in georgia, a guy leaves me a message saying his name is James, and he found a 4-5month old puppy that fits her description ( It had to be off the craigslist ad because my gf put her number on the fliers since I am out of town, and I put my cell number on craigslist ad).

He describes her just like the ad does an then said he is about to put her out of her ****ing misery, then there is the sound of a dog yelping, and then 2 gun blasts. And then says "holler, hola back, thats the end of your ****ing dog". It all sounded pretty real I must say...

OP. You are a retard. The guy who called is an *** but I hope your dog found a better home/owner. If you fricken call the phone company it doesn't matter if your phone was turned off. Even if the dumbshit blocked his number, the phone company can and will get the other person's number, especially if the police are involved and get a warrant. Now if the guy called from a pay phone you're probably SOL.

get what number? his phone number? no..my phone has been off. I'll have to check when I get home if my phone had enough battery when dude called to register the phone number, chances are it's a blocked number anyways.

but my phone probably has had a dead battery for a while though...so...

You must be making this up... low battery doesnt mean the call wont stay in your phone log.... and you dont remember if it is a blocked number? I would have hunted this guy down already and replayed that message and given the # to the cops and animal cruelty services...
