So someone said they killed my puppy...

So a couple weeks ago my puppy ran away. Well, she always plays in my yard, and sometimes wonders off maybe 1 house or 2 down, but she ALWAYS comes back. Well I let her play in the yard while I played COD4 with the door open, when I finished I went out to find her and she was gone. I went to all the local spca centers and gave them her info, and posted up fliers and made a craigslist ad. I had to leave to georgia for a couple weeks right after.

Well today I check my cell phone messages while I am in georgia, a guy leaves me a message saying his name is James, and he found a 4-5month old puppy that fits her description ( It had to be off the craigslist ad because my gf put her number on the fliers since I am out of town, and I put my cell number on craigslist ad).

He describes her just like the ad does an then said he is about to put her out of her ****ing misery, then there is the sound of a dog yelping, and then 2 gun blasts. And then says "holler, hola back, thats the end of your ****ing dog". It all sounded pretty real I must say...

What do you guys think? It's extremely doubtful she went anywhere really far, and the fact that dude called me just off the craigslist ad makes it doubful, just someone being a fukin douchebag. But it did sound very real that's the only shitty part. Fukin people these days.

I know.. she didn't have a tag. and a pitbul/sharpei mix puppy? who wouldnt wanna take her and keep her u know??

get what number? his phone number? no..my phone has been off. I'll have to check when I get home if my phone had enough battery when dude called to register the phone number, chances are it's a blocked number anyways.

but my phone probably has had a dead battery for a while though...so...

No, so in the event that he killed your puppy, he can serve jail time. If he didn't kill your puppy, then you can get him fined for harassment. He loses either way.
