I'd wait on on the HDC 18, otherwise you'll always wonder "what if". Not that any of the other subs are bad, just you were set on the HD, so you might have buyer's remorse...

I recently bought a 9512G and love it off of 2000 watts. havent got it metered yet but its seems louder than my Mag 12 that hit 141. I have a freind with a 3515 and it impresses me, so if its all about competing I would go with 3518, especially if the price is right

18" wont fit... lol So i guess imma roll with a 15" 9515 or 3515? I keeep getting told do the 35 off the 2k watts, but why not spend a lil bit more and go all out with a 9515G? so... whats ya feelings?

off of 2k the 3515 is my recommendation.

I was just saying that the HD3 and the 3500 series wasn't a good comparison... hd3's are similar to 9500's...

I just about got a 3518... just about... but I have more power so i got something else.

well in about a month someone is supposed to buy my Memphis amp.. that gives me the opportunity to run a Massive P3000.1... and really put it on the 15".. just tryin to get as close to 145 in a trunk as possible

for 3000w or less i would still run a 3515 unless money is no issue...

3500 and 9500 series are both great subs on 3k regardless...

The price difference between the two is not really an issue... its only $100 or so

Half says exactly what you said.. The 3515 will wang like no tomorrow and go that route

and the other 50 says get the 9500, shit will be stupid impressive.. and can take a beatin.. get the 95's and be happy...forever LOL

maybe that should be my Poll.. lol Mods wanna change that for me???

well...

if you ever decide to get a new amp or something that gives more power the 9515 would be my choice more flexibility to take more power...

both will get loud...

the 3500 will be at it's limit....

the 9500 will take more...

that simple...

Man, I had a local audio shop call me today and try and Push me to buy the DD 9515 from them instead of my other source.. they said my dealer will buy used, he isnt authorized seller, We'll warranty it and price within $50.. blah blah... If my sub choice is THAT big of a deal that I get calls about my setup from word of mouth then the 95 must be a big deal LOL.. WHew

the person im buying from is Authorized as well as the shop that called me..last night I was talking caraudio with a guy that works at the shop.. and his Higher ups wanna call and push a deal on me... MSRP $800, well hrmmm they were shooting quite a $300mark cheaper LOL

I have been reccomended that 2 2512's will be awesome for my application.. even moreso than 1 3515 or 9515 (due to power issues ATM) I prolly wont ever run more than 3k RMS,, but i have 2K at the moment

2 1512's 142.3 legal

2 2510s 143 legal

2 2512s 144 legal

and got my gf 2 510's and they waaaannnggg for 85$ each
