Sounds nice. I'd like to get a newer extended cab or short bed single cab. Short bed single cab blow through would be nasty

mines a shortbed...i use it for werk...so no cutting...i thought about a console box...but ...i bought an upgraded console so that idea was blown as well

Dang. I might look for an 08-newer short box single cab after I'm done with college. Or, I may put my back seats back in and just do a blow through.

My truck books at $12k and it's an 07 with 170k miles

It books for 12k with salvaged title? Because I doubt u could get 6k for that truck because the salvaged title

Yep, can get quite a bit more than $6k....

Yeah, I was trying to get the best truck for the money at the time. Couldn't have gotten one this new for under $9k

Probably will just put the seats back in and do a blow through after college.

It's a 4 door, so I wouldn't have to sell it when I start a family. Single cabs wouldn't be as good with kids.

Its a safe and reliable vehicle, so I'll probably just replace the bits and pieces that wear down over time

No. I sold it off my lot.

It booked at $14k when I bought it for $8.9k from my uncle. He bought it for a little over $4k wrecked
It's salvage, so that lowers the book value. Everything behind the cab was replaced. Frame had to be cut, and a new back section was welded in. New differential, box, tail lights, drive shaft, exhaust, tailgate, ect.

Salvage = automatic 50% of book.

Not to mention when the car is in an accident, the insurance company will only pay around 20% of book..

Kelly blue book says salvage title means take 20%-40% off the suggested value... And seeing as u had frame damage is put it at the 40%
