I didn't make the original post dumb motherfucker, but welcome to the thunderdome.
If you came to this website to read about car audio, there is plenty of that available. Some guys like to discuss other thought-provoking stuff, hence this thread. Car audio brought us all here. We have that common interest, but that doesn't have to be everyone's only interest. The guys in this thread have obviously read enough of each other's posts that they think the community is worth engaging in other discussions with. You had to click on the thread to get to it; it's not like this is the front page mandatory read.
Is there any way you can edit the title of the thread to the mans actual name? Every time I see it, I just shake my head.
If the cop was black then he should be in jail as well. I understand your thinking on if he was black then it wouldn’t be protested as much which may be true or may not.
The real issue isn’t black vs white, it’s police brutality. Some people are making it a black vs white issue but I don’t think that’s the majority. The media will push whatever narrative for views/clicks but the real protesting is police brutality. The looting/rioting is being done by a small percentage which then makes the entire protesters look bad or evil. In my area there have been protests and all have been peaceful (hopefully it stays that way). And there are plenty of photos/videos that show white kids doing the looting/vandalism as well.
Unfortunately the small amount of bad cops makes the good cops look bad. I don’t know the answer on how to prevent this from happening but I will say I think more funding needs to go into better training, available therapy, and more of an effort put into bringing police and community together.

You are some kind of special. You have to understand what qualified immunity is first before we can answer this. As someone who understands it, absolutely. It has to go away or the rest of the changes dont mean shit. There also has to be more reform than just removing qualified immunity. They have to require cops to carry "malpractice" insurance, the same way doctors, healthcare officials, psychologists, etc. have to carry it. If they have complaints, it needs to go in a national database.
They already have to wear body cams and they turn them off and "forget" to turn them on until after they have committed a crime. Its been well documented at this point.
He didnt say I have qualified immunity. The fact is, not only was he being told by the detainee that he couldnt breath. He was also being told by the Asian cop with him that was training under Chauvin for 4 days that Chauvin wasnt doing it properly and asked him twice to get off George.
