sadly, winisd confirms what ur experiencing. the e8 v1 is louder in the same box, same power(jacob recommends same box size for both versions).

so either he made a v2 for better durability, etc, or they are built for more power, like 1000 watts

well ****...i'll just strap a kicker zx1000.1 to those 8's and let em rip. if they die, they die...

i would talk to jacob to at least find out what power u can run safely. maybe u can go a little bigger on the box to get more low end
