Just Purchased DC Power 270amp alterantor!

Im really excited to see if this thing puts out like it states it does. Supposed to be a 150-190amp idle depending on idle rpm ofcourse.

I was a little nervous to drop 520$ on an alternator after the last high-output one I had wasnt worth having it on the car at an idle but after watching the videos of some people who have bought them I was impressed with no voltage drop @ driving rpms. and only 1 volt drop or so at full-tilt during idle

I know everybody here has opinions about who makes the best alt but choices were slim for my car. I paid a 100-150$ more than I would have from ebay for a 250amp alt but I thought the extra money is worth it for a quality product & manufacturer.

I made a hasty purchase because it was 100$ off and I had extra tax return money burning a hole in my pocket and I have more amplifiers than I do current to run them all...I wish there were dual alternator brackets for these cars.

Anybody here have a DC power alt with anything to say about them?

I have 2 dc power alts and they both do more than rated and are beasts. You will not be disappointed.

I own one as well and concur with this statement. I think the only bad things you'll hear about them is sometimes they take awhile to get your alt. I believe mine took 3 weeks, but it was definitely worth the wait.

i can vouch for this...its over 3 weeks for me already :\..but i told them to take their time cuz parts are hard to come by for a super old yota...i dont blame them...
