should I upgrade battery or?

Full tilt voltage goes to 12.0 and I have the stock 110a alt, and 2 yellow tops 1 up front one in the rear. If I upgrade the rear battery to something bigger will my voltage not drop as much?

If so what battery should I get? I was thinking d3400 or bigger?

U need a ho alt.if ur dropping that much with 2 yellowtops diff batts will just be a bandaid...also the gains could be improlerly set causing clipping aand excessive draw....or you have bad ground connections or a weak battery (ies)

The amp is set using a dmm. I did check all my grounds. Havent done big 3 yet. One yellow top is at least 5 years old but still holds a good charge and starts the car perfectly fine. I might just buy a 200a alternator. Hopefully that will help but I know someone who will buy 1 optima so thats why I asked about bigger batteries. I see alot of people running 2 big batteries with 100a alternator and 3000 rms like im running with not as bad voltage drop. Even if I get a 100 ah battery (which is double optima). It won't help the voltage stay up to maybe 13?

Besides the ho alternator you need the big 3 done and OFC wiring.

Not necessarily appropriate, but OP definitely needs some more wire in his car.

I will definitely do the big 3 I 0 gauge. I only upgraded the neg terminal to 0 gauge so far, now I gotta do alt to battery and ground chassis to engine. But I know that wont make my voltage stay up much higher. It only drops to 12.0 if I have it on full tilt with a heavy bass song for over 30 seconds. I didnt wanna change the alt if I could get my voltage to stay up around 13.0

Shuriken are good but u can get a east penn made batt for cheaper..Id go with a g31 in the back ..if u have a sams nearby u can get the duracell agm for 179 I run them .great for the money

Are the duracell agm a big ah and cca? Are they better then optima? I am looking to buy it on amazon because I have amazon points.

Any other brands or models? The shuriken are the only ones I found that were over 100 ah and over 900 cca

Yes they are 100ah and way better than yellow top .. im nit sure what batteries are for sale on amazon besides kinetic xs and shuriken..which are all expensive imo
