a DD3515 in 4 @ 34hz....?

Worth doubling my box size and dropping some stacks?

Sensitivity claims an extra 4-5db, plus a little more surface area.

Should I?

Any other 15's to consider in ~4 or less?

Going for S"Q"L. I like the boom. But don't want to sacrifice all hopes of sounding decent.

Yup, I wanted to find a way to put 8's somewhere other than my cargo area, but since I couldn't find a decent way and even 1 cube for an 8 doesnt allow my gear to fit in the cargo area due to its dimensions, i may as well use all of the space since the gear will need to go in the backseat regardless.

Kinda an all or nothing scenario.

haha. I'm under the impression that my Level 4 will sound better. But that the 3515 (even only on rated 1200rms) will add roughly up to 5-6db's.

Anyone approve of this line of thought? Being said, is it worth doubling space and some $ for a daily.

Agreed about power handling. But i think i'd rather have a 3515 on rated than a 2515 being pushed with 1200.

Not looking to add more power.

How worried are you about SQ? Two 12's, RE SE's or AQ SDC's would be nice. Double your cone area

Very true. I'm not the biggest fan of multiple woofers, though some SE's or some SDC's could "pound". Not sure if i'd enjoy the higher tuning that the SDC would want. SQ is about 50/50 with SPL. I like my lows, and enjoy the clarity and accuracy of the Level 4. Wish i had heard an AQ woofer before...it'd help.

That makes me lean towards the SE's. Though i think they are out-classed by the Lvl4 by a good margin.

I'd rather double my cone area than multiply by 1.5...and still end up using the same box space.

Well of course you're stepping down, that's what you have to do if you're staying with only 1200W...
