I disagree with that. I think there are woofers that can maintain the same SQ and response without being handed 1.2kw lol.

And also, be louder based of increased surface area.

Now i just have to find some lol. Kinda bummed people don't think the 3515 would be a step up.

DC 4 12"

Sensitivity: 87db

Surface Area: 113.04

DD 3515

Sensitivity: 92db

Surface Area: 176.625

Looks like 6-7db increase at least.

I recommended what I did because you said you didn't want to add any more power. SE's are rated at 600W and can handle a little more, and should have great SQ. My SDC sounded fine, had a little excursion noise, but you wouldn't notice it all the way in the cargo area...I wouldn't tune it as high as I did though. I'd tune two SE's to 33 and two SDC's to 35.
