Should I switch batts?

Im holding 13v full tilt, but with my electrical and the power I'm running I though my voltage should be a little better. Front bat, alt, and back batts grounded to the frame. Dedicated run of neg from front to back, Big 3, etc. I hear that xs power batts are suppose to be the best batteries. Would switching my spv 70's out for a d3100 make me hold a higher voltage?

Probably not but adding another bat should help u maintain 14 unless the alt is failing which is possible even though u have a high output alt. Get the alt checked at autozone or an equivalent place and then go from there

Alt is only 3 weeks old. I will add another spv 70 and see if that helps.

13V at full tilt on a 12V system is more than acceptable. If it is actually 13V, you are at good balance between the normal resting voltage of batteries and the output of your alternator matching the demand of your system.

Ok. That's great. Its actually 13v at the lowest at the amps terminals and 13.6v at the alt. I only ask because I saw some guys say they were holding 14v running a lot more power than I am. I was wondering how they did this. Should I be losing .6v from alt to amp?

Are you referring to me I hold 14volts at full tilt at idle with 9000rms I have a dcpower sp270 7 deka 9A31's and a 9A78 up front the stingers are good but the dekas are stronge in my testing anyway. But my amps are more efficient than yours is.
