it was designed to fit in a vehicle that I no longer have...

I'm also not sure how the woofers will like playing into a throat that only has about 1/3rd their cone area...

rear compression chamber is larger than needed, I will have to displace some volume in that, but that will require experimentation.

I have one sheet of MDF, which will do the top and bottom pieces, so, do I spend the $30 on a second sheet?

The restriction of the throat will only really limit the upper frequency extension right? I think having 1/3 shouldn't really make things terrible.

I say go for it. That's tuned around 35hz or did I read one of the dimensions wrong?

in room, it would only be good for around 45-50Hz extention, in car, it should do down to 35Hz or so.

its meant for the DD9510's I have.

horn length is 237cm (93.3inches) has a throat area of 119cm^2 (18.45inches^) and a mouth area of 1500cm^2 (232.5inches^) (thats PER woofer)

it was designed for SPL, in a station wagon, where the vehicle peaked at about 44Hz.

however, I'm not even sure if the horns would fit in the car, and I dont have access to one anymore anyway

alright, I'm not going to bother building this.

does anyone have a vehicle that it would fit in? (measurements are in centimeters) I can give you the proper plans if you're interested in making it yourself.
