Should I send this amp back?

I had to sign but theres no way anyone could read it. it also came in my wifes name, lol. I just dont know if there is anything they can do about it. they screwed up. I didnt steal anything, they sent it to me. I am going to wait for a week or 2 and see if they get a hold of me. I could see this going to court from a different state for 350 bucks, lol

Give it back. The real guy will call and ask where it is and most likely, they'll either look up the name, see 2 addresses and catch their mistake, or the tracking number will reveal it went to you. Give it back, they'll give you something in reward plus you won't get busted.

I ordered an amp from crutchfield and it came by ups, but the problem was ups delivered and had sign for it by someonelese in another part of town. It was on the tracking webpage.

So I called ups and told them I didn't get package and that there is no such person here in my house with the signature name.

I spoke to ups manager who told me, they will retrack package and get it back to me. I asked how because people who sign for it might not give it back or act dumb and say there is no such person here. The manager told me that UPS lost prevention security people will then get involved and will get it back. He seem to imply that ups had power to take back items from people even if they misdelivered it.

well 2 days later, I got the amp and it had my correct address and package sides were open but item looked good and did work great. No problems.

I just don't know how they could have delivered to wrong address and wrong person.

lol i doubt ups security has the power to enter anyones private residence and look for anything.. they might be able to eventually get the police... warrants ect.. but im sures its cheaper to just pay out the $300 for a new amp than to actually pursue the matter.

they can easily track it back to you, when you sign for it they have the address it actually went to on file and it doesnt matter if they can read your name or not, a signiture is a signiture saying someone there recieved and accepted the package so they will expect you to have it. im the type of person that would normally keep it but since yuo signed for it and they will eventually come back to you, you have no choice but to return it

keep it man and deny that u ever got it...they dont' have video of u signin for it. the person who it was supposed to go to will probaly just get another one if they call the company or report that it never was received on the ebay site and get their money back.any way i don't think anyone cares enough to turn u in.
