Should I leave it in during WINTER???

Hey guys Im just wondering if I should keep my system in over winter or take it out... I have three batteries and two IA 40.1's along with two 12" DD 9512gs.. I can take it all out pretty easy but really dont want to if I dont have to.... I dont have a garage and it gets pretty cold It usally stays around 20 Degrees but sometimes drops into the lower teens and once in a great while it will go below ZERO So what are your opinions... thanks

If you are worried about the bats just buy a smart charger and you will have nothing to worry about.

I think he;s just wonderin if the cold will mess the system up. I would leave it in, even thought its cold it should mess up anything as far as ur system goes

i never do. a little extra weight never hurts when it comes to traction too.

yea electronics are electronics its no different then anything else in your car...... your vehicles computer manages to run your car in the cold right?

But, yeah, the only way it would mess up is if water got into your door/speakers, and then settled and froze... but even then, your speakers would probably just break the ice off...

Eh, either way, you'll be straight.

You might want to get battery sleeves for your batts if they aren't dry-cell. Frozen batteries = no good, or so I hear.

the only thing i would worry about would be getting some frost on the amp, and having it melt on the board. i wonder if that has ever happend before.

I would take it out if this is a car you do not use during winter...Theives will notice that it hasn't moved and will go investigate whats inside...

If its your DD then keep it in and use it...

omfg not below ZERO jesus.......try -50 then come talk to me about cold.
