Should i leave big box or save some space?

2 MT 15s in 12cubes @33hz, 150sq in port

or should i save some space and run them in 10 or 11cubes?

this is mainly for daily, not too much competing, but if i do i will build a small ported box

which one, either way it wont hinder my rear veiw any

increase your port area to around 190 or so...

Got one question for ya. WHY? It has been proven by many folks that MT's don't need that much space especially with the amount of power you are running. 4.5 cubes per woofer at most.

is 6 cubes too big? i would go smaller, just that loyd told me to use this

i would do 4 cubes each (after port and sub displacement)

so if u have 12 cubes to work with...make a bigger longer port to eat up some of that room..and u should be really really loud

just asking: why 4 cubes each?

i have a good bit of room to work with, loyd told me to run them in 12 cube net @33hz

should i size down to 9cube or 10 cube and leave it 33hz and 150 sq in? would it be better for daily? i just want the box to be optimized for LOUD daily and sound decent

im cutting the wood tomorrow because i have no other free time for a little bit so i need to get something going

i'm just throwing ideas around.....12cubes will give u more low end authority than 8 cubes....but the wow factor is there for a no wall box with 2 15's and 300 square inches of port

I will in no way say Loyd is wrong (he is one of the few folks I would still listen to), but many folks have done more with less. If you are looking for tons and tons of low end go for it, but I still go back to what Steve Meade is doing with (4) 18's in 20 cubes net (For some reason I can't remember if he can hit the low notes or not! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif HAHAHA!!). Just my $.02.
