Best 8s for SPL

Ok, I know 8s and spl don't exactly go hand in hand and that if I really want higher db lvls I really ought to go with 12s or 15s etc, but in my car the only subs I can hide are 8s.

That being said, what are the best 8 inch subs for SPL? I'll be running a pair of them in a sealed box (again, I know sealed also isn't the best for spl) that will be about .6 cu ft (per driver) with the driver in them, and can give them about 350w per driver.

The xsites look pretty good; anyone know where I can get prices on their stuff?

I've seen the ascendant audio subs, and they look pretty good; but I wonder how loud they'll be in a sealed box with only a pair of them?

is their a website for true bass solutions? I couldn't find anything...

hahaha, thats kinda what I figured; I have a pair of rl-i8s already and they sound nice, but don't have nearly as much punch as I expected (yes my amp/hu are setup properly). I don't have a lot of experience in car audio, but I figured they would bump at least as hard as my friend's single 10 in a sealed box.

I kinda figured all along that it wasn't the drivers and was more a function of the box design. I may go with some AA 8s, but I'll probably keep the rl-is. I wonder if my box could be modded into a ported box. It's kinda wierd in design (custom box to fit where backseats used to be in a porsche 944)... I'll get some pics when I get out of class and see if yall have any ideas.
