Should I go with the pros?

Would it be wise to get a professional to install my amp when I have no clue what im doing, my brother wont be around, and my dad is too busy? It would be 80 dollars and I have the money...just looking for suggestions.

Anyways you could save yourself some money and hook it up yourself.

yea i do...but im getting it installed tommorow by them so this threads useless now lol

when u install just make sure you take out the negative cable off the battery

I havent been ripped off yet buddy...that will be tommorow lol iono they said 60 for the amp kit and i get there and it comes out to be only 27 dollars...so im sure it will be cheaper, because i talked to a sales rep, not the actual installer

sure he will learn some things, but maybe the hard way.

Installing an amp really isn't that difficult.

1.) Mounting it somewhere.

2.) Finding a suitable chassis ground.

3.) Routing the main positive power lead through the firewall or under the cab.

4.) Running speaker wire to the doors.

5.) Running the RCA interconnects/remote turn on lead to the head unit.

Getting the minor, cosmetic parts of the install is what takes the time.
