Should I go with the pros?

I drive a '94 E-150, and my dad has a '91 F-150, so I'm very familar with Fords of that era...I'd be willing to help you install it, but I'm a little far for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

There are other members on here from the Houston area, maybe you could get in touch with them? They'd probably be willing to work for beer, hell, I would...

You really are wasting money by having a shop do it, considering you have a wiring kit.

Do it yourself, that way if something ever goes wrong, youll know exactly how its installed, and can begin eliminating problems.

Plus, doing things yourself is just more fun.

All in all, installing an amp kit is easy, just follow some basic guidelines, there is a wealth of information out there.

Shops aren't perfect and cost money you can keep.

At 16 years 80 bucks it a lot of money especially if you're POOR without a friggin job @$#%@#$%

I'm 17, almost 18 (july 28th), I try to save as much as possible. I now work for my dad for a mir 7.5 an hour getting a raise isnt easy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif((((((((((((((((((:) eventually I'll own the company and will have cash pouring out my ***!

Okay I shut up now.

these guys are right..... for the most part installing an amp is easy. But that's assuming you have all the right tools, time, a little bit of mechanical sense, and the desire to do it.

I doesn't sound like you have much desire. So, pay the dudes the $80 bucks which honestly isn't that bad of a deal, especially if they do a good job and back up their work.

It's funny to me all of the posts that say "those shops will fu(k up your car" or "the guys at the shops don't have a clue what they're doing"..............Some of this is true mind you.... Yet, in another thread everyone is like, "YAY Req, go work at CC!" So, when he gets the job, he can be one of these guys who doesn't know what the hell he's doin. The Irony makes me laugh.
