should i get i ho alternator?

right now i have a stock vw 120 amp alternator with the big 3 in 1/0. i'm running a orion 2500d at 1 ohm and a little amp( around 120 watts for some comps front.) my lights really don't dim much even at night with lights and the A/C on. my alternator charges the battery at 14.28 volts at idle with no accessories on but and with lights, A/C, and amp playing test tone at full tilt the aternator dips down to 14 volts at the amp and the battery. the reason i'm asking is because i can get a 200 amp alt. through excessive amperage at a group buy price of 310 dollars shipped which is really good, but my question is since im not really getting any dimming and should i save the money and use it somewhere else or go ahead with my purchase. let me know what you would do

heh you arent even dropping under 14 i wouldnt worry about an alt yet

i mean if i do get a alt. then my amp may see 14.4 volts instead ~14.2 that is sees now but i really don't see that making that big of a difference.

i really didn't think my electrical would handle the 2500d but so far so good i just really don't know if i should jump on this deal for this alt. while i have the money and its cheap.

well not exactly stock, id did the big three and the 14 volts is with ac lights and playing a 40hz test tone full tilt.

not hard to believe at all...alot of people have done the same thing with no problems

I would stay with what is working perfectly fine right now.

yeah me 2 i wouldnt bother unless your planning to really get loud in the future.
