Hey guys. Going to have two runs of knukonceptz kolossus fleks 1/0 power wire from my front battery to trunk. I have two XS XP3000's that will be hooked up back there. I can't decide which route to go!

Option 1:

-Buy THESE 5/16" tinned eyelet studs for the XS batteries (Should I get 1/0 or 2/0 for the knu wire?)

-Buy THIS lug crimper

-Buy some 3/4 adhesive shrink tubing for the ends

-Purchase two buss bars for between the two batteries

Option 2:

-Buy THESE terminals from ToolMaker.

-Then no need for studs for the back batteries.

option 3

-Buy THESE 5/16" tinned eyelet studs for the XS batteries

-And then just ring wire between the two

THANKS FOR THE HELP //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I can't decide which route I should go.

I would get 2/0 for KNU wire. Use a BFH and metal pointed punch. Pound them flat and stake in a few places with the punch. Wrap in electrical tape and you're done. Unless you wanna make it look purdy. I'm a form over function guy since you can't see most of the stuff in my ride...

Hahaha alright man, thanks for the info! That seems to be the direction I'm heading

You could also use solder lugs as well (they drop down into the lug itself). I won't hammer those terminals, we use a hydraulic crimper here. However, there is a cheap hammer crimping tool that you could pick up. We also use heat shrink on our connections. Typically use adhesive backed to ensure a proper seal.

Sorry to thread jack but pro-rabbit I didn't see your clients fj this weekend I did see a gray car that had digital designs down the outside and 3 DD 18s and I think he meteredat 157 nice and loud you gonna be at the casino next weekend?

id probably just do option one. i use a bench vice to crimp my lugs. also get 2/0 lugs as its a beotch to get them into the 1/0 lugs.

Oh that would be a possibility then. I was trying to decide if I should solder or crimp, I would buy the nice hammer crimper so I would get a solid connection. And I'm glad you confirmed the purchase of the adhesive shrink tubing! Thanks. I was told the 3/4" would be fine for the 1/0

Option 2 is the most expensive but the easiest. I'd go with option 2.
See that's what I was thinking, plus the batteries will be highly visible and it would look very clean. But the connectors are large and may be a pain the a** making me think more option 1

Okay if I go that route I will get 2/0. I remember trying to fit the wire into standard 1/0 ring terminals and that was interesting...

I added option 3 but that is simply basic as a normal setup. Just running ideas here, I appreciate all the info and ideas guys!
