i understand you need to have commercials and such. but you dont necesarily need to have a "GM half time show". that doesnt tell me anything about their lineup. do they ahve a camaro coming out still? do they even make the corvette still? is the monte carlo still in producitn? i dont know by seeing GM plastered all over a football halftime show.
and im not saying the media is exagerating anything. but they are sure overplaying it. similar to the wars. anytime a soldier dies they act like a whole comany got slaughtered or that custer was re incarnated and was being stupid again. or that a bomb missed its mark and the us planes are dropping napalm on schools.
they overfeed the masses with the 24 hr news on so many channels.
LOL how can you toughen up when you have no money? Do you want GM to print their own money?Let them fail, it they can make it out on their own they will be better off. If they fail...someone else who is smarter will fill the void. No one will bail my business out if I make bad decisions, or if the economy gets slow. I will make it through, because I know how to make it through.
Yes , we are a manufacturing company. Yes, we are very slow now, but with the help of our employees we will make it through.
Toughen up GM and Ford!!
dude i keep saying the economy. the economy believe it or not, consists of more than jsut gm, ford and daimler chrysler. i know its hard and you might not belive me, but it does. and if you ahd read my original post a few pages back for that question, i distincly put in there "or is it such a small drop in the bucket it doesnt matter." and again, i know they need commercials, im strictly refering to advertising at sporitn events, arena names etc. What are they overplaying? The company is on the verge of bankruptcy. I'm sorry but when your sales are down 40% I don't see how cutting advertising helps. They need to roll out with a new campaign.
The Civic is bigger inside. Trust me I own one. I said I would not buy a sh!tty made car just for the sake of saying I was buying a US made car.first you bash the focus for being made sh!tty and being small. i doubt a civic is any bigger. then you say you will buy your next car even if it is made sh!tty. which one is it?
and the g6 is a sharp looking car. i migh get rid of my tahoe and get one of those.
He actually leased the car, but that was the sticker price on the window. I saw it with my own 2 eyes.Your friend sucks at haggling because the most expensive Fusion is sticker priced at 27k. The SE is 25k sticker price.
No one pays sticker price. He actually leased the car, but that was the sticker price on the window. I saw it with my own 2 eyes.
Job losses are soaring, the stock market is sinking, consumer confidence is going down, the retail industry is taking a hit, so yea it's newsworthy. Besides reading your posts is almost as bad as reading SethPhillips.dude i keep saying the economy. the economy believe it or not, consists of more than jsut gm, ford and daimler chrysler. i know its hard and you might not belive me, but it does. and if you ahd read my original post a few pages back for that question, i distincly put in there "or is it such a small drop in the bucket it doesnt matter." and again, i know they need commercials, im strictly refering to advertising at sporitn events, arena names etc. and if you think the media doesnt talk about mostly the economy, turn on the news and watch it for an hour. then keep track of how much time is spent talking about stocks adn the economy. then tell me how many news channels have a lvie update on the exact amount of the dow jones, as if thats the only stock meter in the world.
Well everybody in the sompany has a choice, everybody can take a substantial pay cut, why does chevy or ford need to advertise as much as they do? Do't run ads all day, run an ad every 30 min form 6pm to 10 pm, and you hit most everybody within the country, that alone might give them a needed 50 million to work with.LOL how can you toughen up when you have no money? Do you want GM to print their own money?
