Should I be running 4ga wire with a aq2200?

for that much u can get 37-38 feet of knu true 0 gauge enuf to make sure u can do big 3 also idk if the wire at that place is true 4 gauge or what but its up to u pick up a fuse also and like 15 0 gauge ring terminals
Actually, knu isn't true gauge.... Its oversized, lol. But that's a good thing :) btw, knu is a tad under 4$ a foot for ofc. If that is what op is dead set on getting. knu kca (cca) is about 2$ a foot, tho. And it would work just fine.

yup just looked kca opps still beats the **** he wud buy from that place lol

Yea sorry shop's is 0ga CCA.
I'm ordering the ebay kit now.
If you plan on putting another battery in your trunk, I wouldn't go with an amp kit. Get enough zero gauge and terminals for a positive and negative run from the front battery to the rear. Also, either get enough to do your big three, or order a big three kit from @ramdesigns ;

Just buy a single new agm deep cycle up front the stock alt will not be enough for two battery's and adding a second new battery of a different type to an existing electrical system is not recommended either!

The AGM battery will have to wait for a while. I can't afford to drop another $250 on a battery. I mean my car is brand spankin new (12k miles). I doubt I should have any problems in the next 2 years I have it on lease.

well I can tell you sadly your skipping the one thing that will make the most difference a difference you would see! the big3 helps some it reinforces the cars electrical and helps the battery come up faster but your battery being a wet cell type will be drawn down much lower then a agm deepcycle of the same size.

Two different batteries is fine as long as you aren't using your system with the car off. and I've had this setup in two different cars with stock ALTs, no problem.

If it works for you that's cool, I have done a lot of testing and found if you feel you need a second battery you should really be looking at a alt first. therefore I don't and won't recommend a second battery especially a non-matching second battery on a stock alt.
