Should I be running 4ga wire with a aq2200?

I've got 4ga wire (100amp inline fuse) running to an a fuse block which has an 80 amp fuse and a 50 amp fuse. The 50 amp fuse is running to an Alpine MRP-F240, and the 80 amp fuse is running to the Audioque 2200, all via 8ga wire. . I have the system set up and it hits, but I can tell it's not getting NEARLY enough power. Gains are set via DMM. No big 3.

Could the lack of power be damaging the amp? Should I be running 0ga wire with a 200amp inline fuse straight to the AQ? What's the best way to set this up properly, so both of my amps can get power properly? I have a 120 amp alternator and stock battery. Plan on doing big 3 if I run 0ga wire. How much power gain are we really talking about? I tested the voltage of the speaker outputs on the amplifier and they read 43V (@1ohm). Is that what I should be running for my HDC312?

Thanks for the help.

I wouldntplay it past 1/4 volume until that's solved 0 gauge, big 3 and a AGm deep cycle such as a Xs power d3100 Or on the cheaper side a deka g31

I'm taking that as a facepalm.

sigh, I'm so new to this. time to go out and get some good ol' 0ga.
yea dude bigger wire and fuse im running 2/0 welding cable in my car ona 250A fuse to my kicker 2500 only 300 watts higher then you, 0 gauge at the least 200amp fuse def big 3 and an agm battery deep cycle i mean with what ur running ur gettin to a HO alternator

Alright on my way to car audio place to pick up 0ga wire. Now how necessary is the deep cycle battery? Can I get by without one? The car is on warranty until the end of it's lease, so I'm not really worried about the alternator going because it might be replaced if it does.

understood. so, is the deep cycle battery necessary?
yes you need one, also i wudnt go to a car plqce to buy power wire like cartunes ur gonna get ripped buy knu konceptz on ebay 0 gauge its 2 bucks a foot ofc wire ur gonna pay 5 a foot somewhere else and get enuf to run thru ur car and do a big 3 just run w.o bass till the wire arrives and u get it installed
